IBA Exhibition, Munich - October 2006

Oddy exhibited at the IBA Exhibition which was a resounding success with 75,000 visitors from 127 countries in attendance.

This year we decided to have a fully working Novatek 428 (4 row) roll plant at the exhibition which proved to be of great interest to those who visited our stand.

Complementing the roll plant was a single lane Plait machine. The machine’s ability to pattern all types of dough generated much interest from visitors throughout the EEC and the Middle East.

The plait machine was first designed in 1998 in a 4 row version. A single row version followed shortly afterwards which has become very popular with small craft bakers. To date there has been over 35 units sold throughout the world.

The question as to whether the machine could handle Brioche was answered with the help of other exhibitors who provided the Brioche and the means to bake the product. The answer, as you can see from the product shown here, is ‘yes’!
