Plait Machines

Plait Machine

This machine was specifically designed to add value to existing dough products without the necessary expense of new recipes or costly labour charges.

The machine imprints a pattern into an existing dough product (usually a finger roll or bap) the result of which gives the effect that the now plaited product has been manufactured by hand using a 3-rope principle.

  • Available in single, 2 and 4 row configurations
  • The single row machine can be hand fed or used with a roll plant.
2 and 4 row versions are usually fed from a panner or finishing table
  • Consistent results

  • There are 3 plait pattern forming wheels available (small, standard and large)
  • A Plain roller is also available which has been used to produce an elongated pinned finger roll (known as a fish bap)
  • Ideal for semi-skilled environments
  • Ideal for sandwiches
