Plait Machines

This machine was specifically designed to add value to existing dough products without the necessary expense of new recipes or costly labour charges. The machine imprints a pattern into an existing dough product (usually a finger roll or bap) the result of which gives the effect that the now plaited product has been manufactured by hand using a 3-rope principle. - Available in single, 2 and 4 row configurations
- The single row machine can be hand fed or used with a roll plant.
2 and 4 row versions are usually fed from a panner or finishing table - Consistent results
- Can accept a wide range of dough shapes and sizes (25g – 400g) these include round balls, pinned products, finger rolls, subs and full baguettes
- There are 3 plait pattern forming wheels available (small, standard and large)
- A Plain roller is also available which has been used to produce an elongated pinned finger roll (known as a fish bap)
